How cool is that wood floor on the deck! Come see my beach...do you know any good sources for outdoor shower accessories? You'd think out here there would be some things made for them! Kathleen Southampton, NY
Thank you for visiting my blog! I quickly went thru yours and will be back. I'm almost sobbing at these photos...I know so many of us have a deep longing to live near the beach, water. Something just so soothing and calming to us.
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and signing up to become a regular reader. I truly appreciate my readers. I look forward to reading your blog as you and I have a similar love of the beach. I achieved my dream of having a home on the beach last year after my only sibling, my 41 year old brother passed away suddenly last year. My husband and I always planned on doing it "someday" after all of our daughters were in college and out of the house. After my brother died, we realized, if not now, then when? The past 14 months have been the most difficult of my life, but having our beach home has helped by saving my spirit. I have spent countless hours walking the beach while having "conversations" with my brother. So much healing has come out of it.
I am not fully there yet, but I am definitely doing much better. I don't know what I would have done to keep myself sane throughout the past year without having a place to runaway to. I hope that you are able to achieve your dream sooner than later. Never give up on the dream!
What a beautiful place! Such a dream to live somewhere like that. I've never been to Martha's Vinyard but I did spend yesterday on the Pacific Coast. Love the ocean!
Thanks for stopping by yesterday and for your lovely comments.
